This section of the User Preferences Plot Tab controls how Pen Pointers function when they are enabled for a plot.

Normally as a plot is zoomed out the Pen Pointers refresh rate will slow down to match the reduced graph update rate. With this option checked the pointers will continue to refresh at the data collection frequency regardless of the period being shown.
Tip: This allows users to monitor the latest data values at the same time as viewing large durations of historical data. |
