Auto Scale Strategy

A user preference has been added allowing the user to decide which algorithm should be used for pens using Auto scaling.  The options are "Full Range" and "Standard Deviation".

Highlight on Rollover

A new User Preference has been added that will highlight a given trend line when the mouse moves over the corresponding pen in the item details area.  This can be useful for identifying trend lines on plots that have a large number of pens.

Configurable Y-axis Scale Lines

The User can now specify the default Maximum number of scale lines for a plot. This setting allows the user to pick a multiple which will produce acceptable intermediate scale labels.

 This has been implemented as:

• a User Preference - allowing the user to specify their own default and

• a Plot Attribute - allowing the user to override the default on a per plot basis.

Re-sizeable dialogs

A number of the stPro dialogs are now re-sizeable.  This feature is particularly useful for the dialogs that list OPC items as it allows the dialogs to be much wider. The last size for each dialog is remembered across invocations.

Printing

There has been a general review of the printing to improve readability, layout, use of page acreage etc. For stOCX, the Print option has also been moved to the top level of the right-click menu to improve usability.

Active-X and Automation API's

New attributes have been added to the following API's:

• GetUserPreference and SetUserPreference

• "ROLLOVER HILITE" allowing the user to get or set whether pens should be highlighted when the mouse is over their entry in the item details area.

• "SCALE LINES" allowing the user to get or set the default number of scale lines for all plots.

• GetPlotAttribute and SetPlotAttribute

• • "SCALE LINES" allowing the user to get or set the number of scale lines for the active plot.

stExporter

Item Aliases

The Exporter now provides an option where the item names written to the Export Output file will be based on the item Aliases, and not the genuine OPC item names.  The user can control whether to uses Aliases via a new checkbox on the Export Details tab.

Sapphire Collector

Maximum Connections

The default Maximum connections has been increased from 250 to 2000.  This value can also be overridden via the registry if required (see the SapphireTrend web site forums for more details).

stManager

Last Used

The Item Properties Dialog has been reworked to include the Last Used field.  The is the time when a Sapphire Client last requested a data value for the given OPC item.

Audit files

The version and file size limits in the Sapphire Collector have been increased to make it easier to store audit files covering longer time periods.

Re-sizeable dialogs

The SDR Item list dialog is now fully re-sizeable.
