The pen manipulation buttons provide a quick and easy way to add, re-order and copy pens on the Plot Properties Mapping tab.

Move to top of list |
Move the highlighted pen to the top of the list of mapped pens. |
|
Move to top of page |
Move the highlighted pen to the top of the list of visible mapped pens on the current page. |

Swap with pen above |
Move the highlighted pen up in the pen list by swapping it with the preceding pen. |
|
Swap with pen below |
Move the highlighted pen down in the pen list by swapping it with the subsequent pen. |
|
Move to bottom of page |
Move the highlighted pen to the bottom of the list of visible mapped pens on the current page. |
|
Move to bottom of list. |
Move the highlighted pen to the bottom of the list of mapped pens. |
|
Create extra pen |
Click this button to create an additional pen at the end of the pen list. The item mapped to the pen will be the same as the currently highlighted pen but all other pen properties will be set to the defaults. |
|
Copy pen |
Create an exact copy of the currently highlighted pen. The item and all the pen properties will be copied from the source pen. |
|
Increment pens |
Increment all the pen numbers from the highlight pen forwards. This option allows the user to insert a new pen into the middle of an existing pen list.
Note: Once the 'gap' has been created in the pen list, the next item to be mapped to a pen will be assigned to the missing pen number and will therefore occupy the newly created gap. |
