This area displays the last successful scan for an item (if any exists) and as many preceding error messages as remain within the collector's buffer. This facility can be very useful when debugging why an item is not trending properly.
Note: The messages shown are stored in a common circular buffer and so will be wrapped out over time. If an SDR contains a number of items that are generating errors there will tend to swamp the buffer meaning items that are only occasionally in error may not still show their error logs.
Tips: Where problems persist the auditing in the Manager can be turned up which will create a permanent record of the transactions in the Collector's audit file.
If the item is trending successfully only the last successful scan will ever be shown.
