Use this section of the dialog to set the Scaling Strategy for the selected pen. The Scaling Strategy defines whether the pens scales should be maintained individually, or whether they should use the scales assigned to another pen (Link to Pen) or use the scales for a given Group.

Select the Scale strategy to use for the pen. The options are:
Note: When 'Linked' the values of the selected Pen have no bearing on the Scales used for the Pen.

The pen whose scales should be 'copied' when the Scale Strategy is set to "Link To Pen". |
Name |
The name of the Group that will define the Scales for the Pen.
Tip: More than one Group can exist within a plot. To create a new Group simply type the required Group name in the Name dropdown. Alternatively, select one of the existing Groups via the dropdown. Note: This field is only enabled when the Scale Strategy is set to Group. |
Minimum |
The Minimum Scale for the currently selected Group.
Tip: This field provides an easy way to verify whether the current Pen is 'driving' the Minimum Scale for the group. Note: This field is only enabled when the Scale Strategy is set to Group. |
Maximum |
The Maximum Scale for the currently selected Group.
Tip: This field provides an easy way to verify whether the current Pen is 'driving' the Maximum Scale for the group. Note: This field is only enabled when the Scale Strategy is set to Group. |
Tip: To assign the same Scale values to all of the Pens in a Group, set the scales for one Group member to Manual, define the required scales manually and then use the Copy To All dialog with Scale attribute checked and the 'target' set to "in this Group".
