System Requirements

The system requirements for Sapphire Trend will depend upon whether you intend to run Sapphire Clients or a Sapphire Collector or both.

 

Sapphire Clients

  • Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1and Windows 10 (recommended).

  • Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows Server 2016.

 

  

Hardware

  • Intel i3 or higher  

  • 4-8 GB RAM

  • 500 MB available disk space

 

Sapphire Collector

 

Operating System

 

Server:

Desktop:

 

 

  • Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows Server 2016 (recommended).

  • Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1and Windows 10.

  • Intel i3 or higher  

  • 4-8 GB RAM

  • 5 GB available disk space

 

Note:  The actual amount of disk space required for a Sapphire Collector is dependant upon the number of items that are to be trended, the frequency at which the items are scanned and the duration for which the data is kept.  The SDR tab in the stManager can be used to determine the disk space requirements for configurations allowing the data collected to be tailored to fit within the available disk space.
