From time to time it may be necessary to turn one or more items back on Online. To do this select the individual item or range of items that are to be turned Online and click the Place Online button.
Tip: When selecting multiple items, use the shift-key to select a contiguous set of items OR use down the Control-key to select a disparate range of items.
Note: Items are turned Offline following unsuccessful data scans where the returned error code indicated that OPC error of Invalid item handle or Unknown Item ID. In both bases it is assumed that the item does not exist and it is therefore placed Offline so as to prevent it being scanned.
Note: Items that have been turned Offline automatically by the Collector will show an Online status of "No (Auto)" to differentiate them from items turned Offline by a user which will show as "No (Manual)".
