The Plot Activity button is located on the bottom right-hand corner of the plot window.
Possible states are:

No connection exists with a data source. No updates will occur. |

A connection exists with the chosen data source, but the plot is Off-Scan (paused). No updates will occur. |

|
A connection exists with the chosen data source and the active plot is On-Scan. Updates will occur at the appropriate refresh rate. |
|
|
A connection exists with the chosen data source, the plot is On-Scan and an update is in progress. |
Tip: By double clicking on the Plot Activity button, the user can change the state of the plot.
Note: If the plot is Off-Scan, switching the plot On-Scan will automatically fetch the most recent data for the items being trended.
